Our Team
Mount Plunket Preschool employs a team of five full time and three part time teachers. Experienced relievers fill the gaps when teachers are on leave.
Our Teacher:Child ratio is usually 1:6 or more
We are committed to employing fully trained teachers or people who will enhance the centre curriculum. Generous time for working off the floor is provided for the team to enable them to document children’s learning, meet with families and pursue professional and personal development opportunities.
A team of qualified teachers using a distributive leadership model work in partnership with an Operation's Manager.
The operation is overseen by a governance committee consisiting mainly of centre parents.
Together we ensure progressive leadership, future development and the continued success of the centre.
